Our chorus was honored to be asked to sing at the Veteran's Day celebration this morning at the Onondaga County War Memorial. We are equally honored to sing with several veterans who stand with us on our risers each week. Thank you for your service yesterday, today and always.

Lexi joined the Spirit of Syracuse in 2014 as a Bass! She was first introduced to barbershop back in high school when she attended the SAYacaFEST event. She grew interested in the craft and started coming to rehearsals. She continues to sing with us because she enjoys the sisterhood and relationships she's built over the years. It is also a way for her to continue her passion for singing and to experience the thrill she gets from performing. Her favorite memory was performing at her first international competition in Las Vegas! We are thrilled to have YOU Lexi!!!
Cassia joined us in fall of 2021 as a Baritone! She came to a rehearsal back in 2018 to test the waters, but her work schedule changed and she was unable to commit. A few years later, she noticed a coworker wearing an SOS jacket, was reintroduced to the group, and soon after became a member! She feels that the chorus provides her with a creative space and consistent vocal practice that she has been looking for since college. She loves the barbershop style because it's a unique style that offers up a rewarding challenge. Her favorite memory is that of our chorus retreat. She enjoyed getting professional coached while having the opportunity to get to know other members of the chorus better (plus have some extra fun)!

Vick joined the Spirit of Syracuse in 2022 as a Bass! She was interested in the group a long time ago, but was busy with her family. She kept in contact with one of our members and was brought to our membership drive earlier this year. She enjoys performing as it is a good outlet for her to be herself and melt all the day's stresses away. Her favorite memory was the first concert she sang in. We are so grateful she continues to sing with us and look forward to many more years with her!
